It all started in 1953, when Mr. Juan B. Stamos (Stamatópoulos), a young entrepreneur from Greece immigrated to Mexico and started cultivating eggplant in the most fertile regions of the state of Sinaloa. For many years Mr. Stamos dedicated himself to selling his products all over North America through different distributors in Nogales Arizona. In 1984 Mr. Stamos started his own company known today as Malena Produce Inc.
With 60 years of experience Malena Produce has a unique perspective that benefits our customers, and along with our grower partnerships we are able to reliably provide the freshest, highest quality produce around North America.

Malena Produce‘s global family of farmers share our commitment to the people who have helped make our company successful.
